Fail

When I first made a website, I thought this blogging stuff is easy!  But no.  I never know what to say!  I'll get round to finishing that photo gallery sooner or later... need something to do!

New ...Policy on Spam

From now on, anyone who sends spam through the Contact page will have their email address posted for all to see.  Not because I'm getting angry at it or anything... I just think it's only fair to have a go back at them! :)

So, to kick off with one I got a few minutes ago:

illanasegr@narod.ru

and illanasegr@yandex.ru

I'm being spammed again :(

This time though, it's the same person every time.  Always using a random name, but the email address is consistent.  So here it is:

<removed>

Feel free to send anything you like to this address.  It's now posted in plain text on here, so the spam-bots will pick it up and hopefully spam him even more.

Edit: I haven't had anything from him since I posted this so I think he's learnt his lesson...  Removed the email address now - no need for it any more.

Google

Well... it seems our beloved Google "search" engine isn't as good at searching as I thought!  I felt like searching for myself a minute ago, where the results usually had this website as the #1 result.  It never used to be #1 one... not even in the first 5 pages... then, strangely, a day after I signed up for some Google services such as Analytics and AdSense, my site popped straight up to the #1 spot.

A few days ago, I removed my Analytics account from my site and from Google (never used it).  And then all of a sudden... I've disappeared from the #1 spot on the Google search for CreepinJesus!  Not even on the first page of results!

Seems like Google have "preferred" sites of their own, if you know what I mean...

New Management

I have a new server!  CreepinJesus.net is now hosted on a new computer :)  I also got rid of the Google Analytics stuff (I never looked at it anyway) and now the pages seem to load a lot faster.  Two good pieces of news!
